Filming Humpback Whales in French Polynesia

Strong wind and big swell hit the coast of the Australes Islands in Polynesia. These islands are not the Polynesia seen on the nice postcards. The swell can reach 5 meters in height or more. But never mind the difficulties to approach them, this is one of the places the humpback whales will choose in the Southern Pacific, to rest in winter, to give birth or (and) to mate. Diving with whales, beside being the most wonderful experience for a diver, is a gift from Nature, a unique invitation to be close to the giants of the sea.
